Diamondbacks Win League Championship Series Monday, May 24th , 1915 The Huntington Beach HS Diamondbacks will continue their playoff march, after a 4-2 League Championship Series victory over the Memphis HS Danes. The series wrapped up at Chase Field with a 1-0 win, propelling Huntington Beach HS to the World Series. Series MVP William Grant called it a "total team effort" by his club. The Huntington Beach HS Diamondbacks will play against the Yonkers HS 89ers in the next round. Yonkers HS won their series against the Milwaukee HS Bucs 4 games to 3.
