Gee Shackles Indianapolis HS Saturday, May 1st , 1915 Chick Gee of the Fresno HS Jazz was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the Indianapolis HS Blues, 1-0. "He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Fresno HS manager Dexter Presslie said later. "When Chick does that, good things happen." The left-hander had 3 strikeouts, 1 walk and allowed 7 hits in the win. This year, Gee has a 3-2 mark in 8 starts with a 2.44 ERA.
