Demmery Twirls Rangers to Shutout Win Monday, March 22nd , 1915 Austin College Rangers pitcher Ed Demmery really got it done at Globe Life Field today in his 2-0 shutout victory over the Fremont College Walruses, shutting them down on 6 hits. "It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Demmery said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them." The 22-year-old issued 3 walks and had 5 strikeouts in the Rangers win. Thus far this season Demmery has posted a 3-2 record, started 6 games, struck out 37 batters in 45 innings and compiled a 2.40 ERA. View Game Log |
