Conference 1 West Division Champions Crowned Friday, May 4th , 1917 The Austin College Rangers have taken a big first step in winning the franchise's first World Series. "We're champions of the Conference 1 West Division and now it's time to get that championship," said starting pitcher Sam Sneed. "The fans deserve it and all the guys in this room want to bring that title home." It is the club's 3rd division title and although they have never won the league championship, manager Curt Evans said the club will "certainly be prepared" once playoffs begin. |
