Columbus College's Williams Acclaimed Best SL2 Hitter Sunday, April 1st , 1917 When Curtis Williams stepped up to the plate in March he did it with confidence, and today he was honored with the Conference 2 Batter of the Month award. The young Columbus College right fielder posted a .446 batting average with no home runs, 18 RBIs and scored 13 runs. Williams also worked pitchers for 3 walks to post a .465 on-base percentage. |
