Barnhill Twirls 3-0 Shutout

Robert Barnhill was in a zone of his own most of the day, shutting out the Dallas College Colonels on 9 hits.
"He was too darn good for us today," grumbled Dallas College manager Rolland Bracebridge after the 3-0 loss to the Charlotte College Lightning.
Barnhill finished with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks in a strong outing.
In the postgame press conference, Charlotte College manager Manny Martinez said Barnhill "had good velocity, good movement and had those guys off balance. He just pitched his butt off."
Thus far this season, Barnhill has posted a 3-4 record, started 8 games, struck out 21 batters in 70.2 innings and compiled a 1.27 ERA.
