San Jose College Devastated by Playoff Elimination
Tuesday, May 2nd , 1916
The San Jose College Daredevils players and coaches held a closed-door meeting today after the club was eliminated from postseason contention.
"We just wanted to talk about the season and where we are right now and how we get to our ultimate goal," said a dejected Isaac Lindsay. "We don't want to have this feeling next season."
This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 1914. In total, the Daredevils have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 10-year history. San Jose College last won the World Series in 1914.
