White Tosses 3-0 Shutout for Los Angeles College Tuesday, April 20th , 1915 Bill White spun his magic in a shutout victory at Daredevils Fields, 3-0, over the San Jose College Daredevils. The Los Angeles College pitcher put quite a spell on San Jose College in a strong performance, allowing 2 hits while totaling 2 walks and 2 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," White said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." So far this year, White has a 1-4 record with a 3.96 ERA.
