SL1 Star of the Week Picked Monday, April 28th , 1913 Moses Woodhead has been in a real groove lately. The 20-year-old Charlotte College Lightning catcher nabbed Conference 1 Player of the Week honors today after beating up on opposing pitchers all last week. Woodhead's hot streak featured 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 4 home runs, 8 RBIs, 6 runs scored and a .556 average. This season Woodhead is hitting .328 with 10 home runs. |
