The Madison College Night Train shut out the Michigan State Wolves, 2-0, behind the strong pitching of Elwood Trott. Trott surrendered only 5 hits in recording the complete-game victory. He registered 2 strikeouts and 2 walks.
"Some days you just run into a buzzsaw," said losing manager Wilbur Powell.
