Gray Stands Out in Eau Claire Shutout Wednesday, June 27th , 1917 Eau Claire Oysters hurler Charles Gray logged a 4-hit, complete game shutout over the Outlaws, stopping them, 4-0, at Aquia Harbour Grounds. "I felt great out there," Gray said in his postgame interview. "After the second or third inning, I got real comfortable. Hopefully this is a building block for me. I'd love a few more starts like this." He rung up 4 strikeouts and gave up no walks in the performance.
