Baltimore, Foxton Snuff Out Angels

Domingo Foxton of the Baltimore Clippers shut out the Providence Angels, 7-0, at Cartwright Stadium, holding them to 6 hits with no walks and 4 strikeouts.
Pressed for comments on his club's defeat, Providence skipper Mike Gazaway called the outing from Foxton "a jewel."
"The way Foxton was pitching, it would have been tough for anyone to beat him," he said.
Checking out his stats for the season, Foxton has registered 6 wins and 7 losses in 17 starts, posted a 2.74 ERA, and struck out 55 batters in 115 innings.
