Season Ends for Carter Saturday, June 26th , 1915 Obviously disappointed, Carl Carter confirmed today that his season is officially over. The Pittsburgh closer offered mostly monosyllabic responses to reporters. "Nope," he said, when asked if he might possibly return this year. The 37-year-old Carter suffered radial nerve compression on 06/22/1915 and has been out of action since. To date Carl Carter has made 26 relief appearances and nailed down 8 saves. In 39.2 innings he has fanned 16 batters and walked 8. His record is 1-1 with a 2.50 ERA and the opposition is batting .267 against him. |
