Banshees ace Pierce Adney reeled in his 250th career victory by beating the Brooklyn Whales 7-2 at The Boston Yards. In his historic win, he notched 4 strikeouts in 7.2 innings, yielded 2 runs and 6 hits, while surrendering 1 walk.
"I tried to focus on each batter," said Adney after the game, "but as the game goes by, I couldn't help but think about the possibility. 250 is a big number. It's an exclusive club and I'm honored to be a member."
