Saint Louis Punchless in 10-0 Loss to Oilers Tuesday, May 25th , 1915 The bats were ice cold for the Saint Louis Reds at Oilers Ballpark. Pittsburgh Oilers starter John Oxenden kept the Reds cold all day, shutting them out, 10-0. In a fine outing, the 34-year-old hurler allowed 4 hits while striking out 3 and walking 3. "I'm not quite sure what was different today," Oxenden admitted later. "I didn't feel like I was doing anything differently, but the results speak for themselves."
