Win Makes Brooklyn 34-15
Getting an impressive start from Everette Lee, Brooklyn beat New York by the score of 6-1. The Whales own a robust 34-15 mark.

Raymond Nott had a big 2-run double for the Whales in the bottom of the first inning. With Brooklyn leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from Harry Savory, who leads the EL in holds with 1, and swatted a double to center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Whales ahead, 4-0.

"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Brooklyn skipper Marques Williams.
