The Boston Banshees racked up a win at The Boston Yards, bumping off the New York Kings, 4-3. Merrill Marsham, who started for Boston, pitched effectively for his team. The 7th-place Banshees go to 20-26.

The decisive blow was delivered by Hipolito Cox in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 3-run home run off former first round draft pick George Leeder to win the game for Boston. The home crowd went nuts.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Marsham said.
