Brewers Lose to Banshees, 2-0
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Boston Banshees and the Philadelphia Brewers. Boston won it, 2-0. Boston starter Pierce Adney was in command. Merrill Marsham collected save number 6. The victory makes Boston 11-10.
Early in the game, third baseman Hipolito Cox had a run-scoring double for Boston. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Banshees on top, 1-0.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Adney.
