Stars Rally to Win
|
In a tight affair between the Kansas City Stars and the Saint Louis Canaries, pitcher Joe Moore was in the zone. The Kansas City left-hander helped his team win the game, 1-0. With the win, Kansas City goes to 11-10.
Kansas City got a knockout punch from Clifford Boada. The left fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Moore said.
