Banshees Earn 5-2 Home Win

The Richmond Rifles went down to defeat to Albert Winnall and his Boston teammates. The final score was 5-2, in favor of the Banshees. Winnall got the win, improving to 2-2. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Verner Pomfret got the save, the 3rd for him this season.
Daniel West had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the third for Boston. With the bases loaded and the Banshees leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
