Kinsley Stops Saint Louis
|
The Saint Louis Reds struggled at the plate against Packers hurler Joseph Kinsley, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete-game 3-0 shutout.
"What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Reds skipper Solomon Cole in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow."
Kinsley finished the game with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk in an excellent mound performance.
"He pitched real well," Chicago manager Kyle Levin said. "Joseph made pitches when he had to. He hit his spots and did a great job of mixing in his changeup and using his fastball effectively."
For the season, Kinsley has logged 11 wins and 17 losses and struck out 82 batters in 240.1 innings while compiling a 2.43 ERA.
