The Twin City Empire faced a tough opponent in Cincinnati pitcher Bonnie Kaye, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Doves Field by a final score of 3-2. Kaye went 7.1 innings and allowed no runs. The 7th-place Doves have lost 4 consecutive games.

Thad Browning, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1911 draft, had a direct impact on the outcome. Browning contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put Twin City up, 3-2.
