The Cincinnati Doves downed the Saint Louis Beavers, 7-5, in 12 innings at The Riverlands. The Doves were led by Truman Sephton. Sephton went 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. With the win, the Doves hiked their record to 20-15.

The game was at a stalemate until second baseman Isaac Richardson came to bat in the top of the 12th. Facing Saint Louis pitcher Irvin Dover, he hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Cincinnati on top, 7-5.

"Feels good to be on the winning side," said Sephton.
