Giants Need Extra Frames to Get Past Reds
The Saint Louis Reds went down to defeat to James Watkins and his Detroit teammates. The final score was 4-2, Giants, in 10 innings. The Giants sit in 4th place in the Western Division with a record of 15-17.

Joseph Ogle, who is tied for 6th in the WL in home runs with 1, had a direct impact on the outcome. Ogle contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Detroit up, 3-2.

"James just settled in and did what he does," said Detroit manager Cecil Hunter.
