The Banshees grabbed a win, 7-3, at Libby Hill, overcoming a fine effort from Richmond pitcher Chester Jacks. Jacks went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs. With the win, Boston raised its record to 50-38.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 24-year old first baseman Santiago Coote. Coote had a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Banshees ahead, 4-3. For the game, Coote had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Coote told the Boston Citizen.
