Adney Bewilders Clippers, 1-0
|
Boston Banshees pitcher Pierce Adney really got it done at The Boston Yards in a 1-0 shutout victory over the Baltimore Clippers, shutting them down on 2 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Adney said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 36-year-old issued 4 walks and had 4 strikeouts in the Banshees win.
So far this year, Adney has compiled a 19-4 record with a 2.31 ERA.
