Brewers Stumble, Lose to Twins
The 8-4 Minnesota win over Milwaukee was due in large part to John Castino. The Twins shortstop went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 3 runs. The Brewers fall to 9-11 and continue their sputtering start to the 1983 season.

Kent Hrbek had a big grand slam home run for the Twins in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Minnesota leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a slider from Lary Sorensen, who finished 5th in the AL in innings pitched with 280.2 in 1978, and punished it. The result was his 6th home run of the season, which put the Twins on top, 5-0.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Castino.
