Seattle's Juan Andaverde Injured Sunday, January 2nd , 2033 Juan Andaverde of the Seattle Stingrays was injured in today's game against Tijuana and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a ruptured medial collateral ligament, and he is expected to be out for up to 9 months. It happened while Andaverde was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Andaverde currently has a .258 batting average with 39 hits, 7 homers, 14 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .337 OBP. |
