Guevara Gets 6 Hits Monday, January 26th , 2032 The Kentucky Klondike Bars stopped the Taiwan #1 by a score of 58-57 at Sound Tigers Park, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Jorge Guevara. The 5-year-old had a career day, collecting 6 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Guevara said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Guevara did just that in his 9 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the #1. "Not much that I can say," offered Taiwan manager Josh Van Blarcom. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Jorge Guevara hit a sac fly in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, walked in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Esteban Bautista in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
