Boston's Maxwell Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Tuesday, January 25th , 2033 Boston first baseman Nate Maxwell had a big day at Ballpark of Kingston against the Seward Sea Otters. The 5-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-9 and led to the 52-26 Shamrocks triumph over Seward. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Maxwell said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Nate Maxwell flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Geysi Baxter in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, grounded out in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.
