Estrada Batters Sugarland for 6 Hits Monday, January 24th , 2033 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Mike Estrada -- a 6-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Green Jackets Fields and paced the 41-8 Hustlers win over the Sugarland Trash Bandits. After his dynamite batting performance, the Brockton third baseman told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 6 hits in 8 tries and put his name in the record book. Mike Estrada singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Juan Flores in the 5th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th, struck out in the 9th and singled in the 9th.
