Galey Stretches Hit String to 35 Saturday, January 22nd , 2033 Ben Galey of the Seattle Smoke Screen extended his hitting streak to 35 straight games with 3 hits in today's 17-5 triumph over the Taiwan #1 at Arrows Fields. "Ben has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Smoke Screen manager Danny Camfield joked after the game. Ben Galey struck out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Edgar Morel in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Galey is currently hitting at a .465 pace with 25 home runs and 130 RBIs. He has played in 55 games and scored 124 times. |
