Chafe Best FCL Starter in August Wednesday, September 1st , 2032 In August, Lawrence Chafe tore through the Florida Complex League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 23 years old. The young Houston (FCL) starter posted a 3-0 mark and an ERA of 1.61 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 22.1 innings he collected 35 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .165 average. To this point in the season Chafe has 5 wins and 2 losses and a 3.08 ERA. |
