Schmoekel Wins CAL Honor Monday, July 19th , 2032 Kevin Schmoekel of the TSG Hawks was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Schmoekel put up some great numbers and hauled in the California League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .421 with 5 home runs and 16 RBIs. The 23-year-old second baseman also scored 9 runs and for the week went 8-for-19. Schmoekel currently has a .341 batting average with 30 hits, 9 homers, 36 RBIs, 24 runs scored and a .468 OBP. |
