Garza Hits for the Cycle Friday, June 3rd , 2033 Juan Garza of the Destin Devil Rats helped his club in a big way, hitting for the cycle in their 7-5 win against the Spokane Indians. The 4 hits, 3 runs batted in and 1 run scored for Garza led the way for the Devil Rats. "It was just a perfect day at the ballpark," Garza said later. Juan Garza hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Josh Ratkowski in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th. Garza is batting .304 this season in 35 games with 14 home runs, 44 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 42 hits in 138 at-bats. |
