Alexander, Myers Suspended for Fracas Thursday, July 8th , 2032 After an intense confrontation, both the Crusaders Marquis Alexander and the SeaWolves LaVirtus Myers were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Charleston-Lower East Side game. Marquis Alexander will miss 2 games, while LaVirtus Myers was suspended for 6 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Marquis Alexander commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." Looking at his present stats, Alexander has compiled a .243 batting average in 76 games with a .375 on-base percentage, while hitting 28 home runs and driving in 63 runs. |
