Indians Listless in 11-0 Loss to Rice Elephants Thursday, August 12th , 2032 It was a smooth and solid performance by Jeff Alley of the Taoyuan Rice Elephants against the New Mexico Indians. He crafted a fine 2-hitter to blank the Indians, 11-0. He chalked up 11 strikeouts and 4 walks along the way. "It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Taoyuan skipper Adam Melhuse. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy." So far this season, Alley has logged a 7-6 record with a 3.69 ERA. He has started 16 games, hurled 109.2 innings and registered 102 strikeouts and 82 walks. |
