More Injury Problems for Fremont Street's Andres Memije Sunday, October 23rd , 2033 The Fremont Street Reapers received some bad news when the team's medical staff announced that Andres Memije would miss even more time than had previously been expected. Memije, who is currently out with torn ankle ligaments, was evaluated by doctors yesterday and tests showed that the injury was not healing as quickly as they expected. Instead, the 26-year-old catcher will have to spend another one week in treatment. So far this season, Memije is hitting .289 with 4 home runs. |
