Diaz Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Jordan Diaz today. Diaz went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off San Bernardino pitchers. When the dust settled on the diamond at Hodgetown, he had a 5-for-5 line and a day he will long remember. And the Corpus Christi Hooks had a 7-5 victory over the Flying Chanclas.

"Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview.

Jordan Diaz hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Dorsey Chatham in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

In his stats this season, Diaz has posted a batting average of .265 with 86 hits in 324 at-bats, 15 home runs and 46 RBIs. He has also scored 47 runs, walked 36 times and compiled a .338 OBP.
