The Browntown Cowboys and Sugarland Trash Bandits completed their game despite the rain.

The Browntown Cowboys bested the Sugarland Trash Bandits by a score of 11-7, with left fielder Steve Downey getting the main credit. On the day, Downey slugged 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Cowboys. Browntown has now won 5 straight.

With Browntown trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the fifth, Downey hit a curveball from Jorge Rangel for a 3-run home run. It was his 24th home run of the season and put the Cowboys ahead, 6-4.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Downey.
