The Bermuda Triangles powered past the Barbados Bombers, 19-14, at Sluggers Field. Ernesto Pecina provided some of the pop. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. The win belonged to Alejandro Gallegos in relief. His record improves to 5-3. Jorge Barajas took the loss for Barbados. Mike Lennon got credit for the save for Bermuda. It was his 3rd of the year.

Had Elver Erickson not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Erickson hit a 2-run double. That made the score 11-10, in favor of the Triangles.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Pecina told the Bermuda Gazette. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."

The triumph puts Bermuda at 31-25 for the season.
