The Sun City Creamsicles powered past the Boston Shamrocks, 12-5, at Sun Sox Park. Doug Darmanin went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3, to lead the charge. Juan Estrada, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1.2 innings.

In the bottom of the fifth, Sun City third baseman Ben Funk had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Funk stroked a run-scoring single to center. It made the score 7-5, Sun City. For the game, he went 2-5 with a triple.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Darmanin.

With the win, Sun City pushed its record to 34-19.
