Rock 'Em! Sock 'Em! Darmanin Blasts 3 Homers in Sun City Win
The Sun City Creamsicles pinned a convincing loss on the Tempe Tacos, 16-3, at Sun Sox Park. Doug Darmanin was a main factor in the win. He hit 3 home runs. He drove in 9 runs and scored three times for Sun City. Edgar Ortega got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 5.1 innings, giving up 1 run on 2 hits, while striking out 11 and walking 1. The win for the Creamsicles raised their record to 31-18.

Early in the game, Darmanin had a 2-run home run for Sun City. It was his 32nd home run of the season and put the Creamsicles on top, 2-0.

"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Darmanin told the Sun City Times.
