Rays 2 Lose Alagna for Season Tuesday, August 4th , 2043 The season is finished for Bettino Alagna of the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 2. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Rays 2 reliever suffered shoulder inflammation while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Atlanta (DSL) Braves. Team doctors said it would take at least 5 months to heal. So far this year, Alagna has delivered no saves. In 5 relief appearances he has 2 strikeouts in 4.1 innings with a 6.23 ERA and no wins and no losses. |
