Rays 2 Out of Playoff Race Wednesday, August 6th , 2042 Even the most die-hard fans of the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 2 will likely now start focusing on next year. The team was today mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. "We're disappointed," said Rays 2 second baseman Rene Jimenez. "Not just for ourselves, but also for the fans that stick with us every year." This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2039. In total, the Rays 2 have missed the playoffs 14 times in their 22-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Rays 2 have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
