Round 1 Goes the Distance, Atlanta (DSL) Prevails Thursday, August 27th , 2043 A classic and dramatic Round 1 has wrapped up, with the Atlanta (DSL) Braves outlasting the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 to advance to the Round 2. Atlanta (DSL) won the final game by a score of 5-4 and took the series 2-1. "We can enjoy this one tonight, but then it's back to work and thinking about the next win," said Atlanta (DSL) second baseman Sandy Sanchez, whose standout performance earned him the nod as series MVP. Sanchez hit .357 with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Atlanta (DSL) Braves will play against the Milwaukee (DSL) Brewers in the next round.
