DSL Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, August 17th , 2043 Last week Jose Silva was the toast of Philadelphia (DSL) and the talk of the Dominican Rookie League -- this week he's the DSL Player of the Week. The standout catcher sewed up the award with his .500 average (14-for-28), 2 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs. Thus far this season, Silva has hit .304 with 9 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 27 times. |
