Quad Cities first baseman Joe Carr thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Quad Cities to a win, 9-1, over Dayton. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Carr said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Carr was 3-for-5 on the day with 3 runs batted in.
