Delgado Chosen #1 Player Monday, August 10th , 2043 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Double-A South Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Chris Delgado for his great week at the plate. The Pensacola center fielder took home the trophy by banging out 13 hits in 28 at-bats for a .464 batting average, driving in 13 runs and scoring 9 times. In 96 games Delgado is hitting .305 this season with 120 hits, 9 home runs, 59 RBIs, 27 walks, .356 OBP and has scored 64 runs. |
