Un-four-gettable: Cuartas Hits for Cycle Sunday, June 7th , 2043 Jon Cuartas of the Birmingham Barons helped his club in a big way, hitting for the cycle in their 13-2 win against the Rocket City Trash Pandas. The 4 hits, 3 runs batted in and 2 runs scored for Cuartas led the way for the Barons. "It was just a perfect day at the ballpark," Cuartas said later. Jon Cuartas singled in the 1st, flied out in the 4th, hit an RBI triple in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Ian Burke in the 8th and hit an RBI double in the 9th. So far this season, Cuartas has hit .222 with 6 home runs, 19 RBIs and scored 19 times. |
